Cancellations

Note that no changes can be made to your order within 5 business days of your delivery date, including postponement and cancellation for any reason. If Covid restrictions and/or lockdown are imposed with less that 72 hours notice we cannot offer any refunds as all food would have been ordered and preparation begun, although rest assured we can still deliver your catering as we are an essential service.

Packaging

Here at Your Private Chef we really care about the impact we have on the environment and where possible will aim to limit the amount of packaging and boxes we use. This is why you may notice that your order will arrive in fewer boxes than anticipated however the size of the boxes will be larger allowing for a higher volume. 

We also have a team of highly skilled and creative chefs that work in our kitchen. Each chef does bring a unique take and spin on the orders they work on and you may find that there are slight variations on the photos seen on our website but rest assured it will be just as delicious.

Delivery:

If your delivery is Hot we will delivery as close to the specified time as possible.

If your delivery is cold, we will deliver within a window of time (usually up to 3 hours before), with your specified time being the latest time we will be there. 

We do also offer pick up from our kitchen in Caulfield. Please let us know if you would like this option.

Please note that our office phone is only periodically monitored after hours, which includes weekends. Please try to complete your catering correspondence with us during business hours so we can help you in a timely manner. If you have any urgent questions, please call us instead of emailing to ensure we don't miss your questions.
